Als Letter from Isobel Field to T.J. Gannon Jr. Harmon on the Hudson, New York June 7, 1917 Autographed letter signed, one page, 8vo, Harmon-on-the-Hudson, New York, 6 June 1917. To T.J. Gannon, requesting that he: "...take my letters out of the sale. Surely you have no right to sell a person's private letters? I have no memory of ever asking ... for a position on the stage it must have been a passing fancy -- but hardly enough to entitle me to the name of 'actress' -- You were right in thinking me amanuensis of R.L.S. But that came some ... years later." Very slight fading and toning; else good. |
